Sorry to bring this back up, but I didnt find a fix.
Im having the same issues. I never get cleared to lower than 12,000 or 14,000. PFE will give me a vector to no where a lot of the times as well. I have to manually turn it back around and bring the plane to a lower altitude.

Thanks,
Michael

Please post your flightplan here so we can have a look at it..

What altitude are you cleared to before reaching FL140 or FL120,sounds like the plan isn't created correctly for some reason..

Sorry for the delay but ive been away and havent had a lot of time to try this a few different times.
Last night I went from KDFW to KFLL. I set up my flight plan in fsbuild version 2.4, then I changed my altitudes in PFE to match the JINGL1 arrival. ATC didn't give me clearance to descend until just after the RXXAN waypoint. It cleared me down to 17000 then expected me to land the visual 13 from 17000! I was way too high!! It wasnt even close to where I needed to be.
Heres the flight plan I used:
CLARE2.SWB HRV Q105 BLVNS Q102 BAGGS.JINGL1
Each waypoint of the star is in my flight plan adjusted in PFE with the correct altitudes.
BAGGS
RXXAN
FORTL - 13000
SWAGS
JINGL - 250/8000
JAREM
BEPAC
Dont really know what happened, but this happens everytime I try and use the program. I havent had a successful landing yet. PFE always expects me to land from these crazy altitudes.
Thanks
Michael

Sorry not had chance to reproduce due to work..

Before i do check, have you followed my tutorial for Sids and Stars...

Any chance of some screenshots of your setup in PFE for sids/stars so i can compare with mine.

I'm guessing you're using a translation utility to post here... if you are, and you can understand my post, you need to use a better one because your post does not make sense!
