Yes that is exactly what Dave is saying, Simmarket do not have the latest version, also for some people the update facility doesn't work past a certain version and it incorrectly says that they have the latest version. |

I purchased FDC live cockpit 2011 a few days back now and still I cant use it. I just get a number of error messages all the time. I have installed and uninstalled and re-installed. I have stopped my UAC settings but still dont work. Can anyone tell me what it means when it says not enough hot keys assigned and where I go to sort this out? Thank you for your support. Nick |

Well, now whose fault would that be? When I come across software like this, I throw it away and/or delete it from my system as defective software. Lesson learned. Don't use Simmarket anymore and don't by FDC products anymore. |

Hi Nick, Please try the following:- First:- 1. Right-click on the FDC shortcut and select Properties 2. On the tab labelled Shortcut, click on the button labelled Advanced 3. Tick box labelled Run as administrator and then click on the OK button. 4. When prompted by the system, click ok to confirm. 5. Select tab labelled Compatibility 6. Tick the box next to run this program as administrator then click on the button labelled Apply 7. Finally, I click on OK to exit. If that doesn't work... In the main FDC installation folder you should see two applications named PFE_V312_System.exe and Sysinfo_inst.exe Run both of these applications Other important things we always tells users when installing on Vista and/or Win 7:- (a) Turn UAC off. (b) Log on with Admin rights (c) NEVER install into the Program Files folder because the OS will prevent some files being updated (d) Stop all other programs during the installation, especially virus checkers and any other security type programs |

Funny how people are quick to blame the product as defective etc,yet i run it on windows 7-64bit with no problems along with PFE and a whole host of addons.... |
