One last Issue im having is no sounds when i load in the sim. I only see Captions. Ill try the DirectX for Managed Code runtimes again. |

Dear All, today i bought PF3 for MSFS2020 cause i wanted to have a better ATC then the one in Flightsimulator. I read a lot about PF3 and Pilot2Atc, and my choice was PF3. After installing PF3 i tried to connect to MSFS2020. PF3 is closing after i choosed a flightplan and connect to the simulator. I read then all hints here in the forum. No luck. It doesn't start. I send you my Lockfiles, hope you can help me! Thomas |

Firstly, please start a new topic when reporting issues like this, rather than tag onto an old thread... makes it much easier for us to keep track of things. Next, you are running the base installation (ver. 3.0.0) so please download/install the latest cumulative updates package from this forum (see the maintenance release post above) to ensure you are running the very latest version, which is 3.15.0 |

Had the exact same problem as yourself. Un-checked "Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" And presto PF3 not crashing anymore thanks for posting your solution. Would never have known to look there. |
