Well, as you've probably guessed I'm clutching at straws... if you're using PF3 skins try turning them off and see if that makes any difference (Options #2/Advanced Options) |

I just tried, but unfortunately, it's the same. Don't worry about clutching at straws or anything. I'm a software developer and I understand the difficulty of debugging things like this. We'll get to it, no worries. |

Some extra info from my own investigations. In the Windows Event Viewer I see this:

Might be worth checking the following and see if any of the suggestions help, as this may be a corrupted Net Framework CLR.DLL issue https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forum ... netfxsetup |

The error appears to occur at the point where PF3 is simply reading the file FP_Process.dat, which is in your PF3\Flight\FPP folder and is basically a copy of your flight plan. See if you can open that file with Notepad or another editor after recreating the problem. |

I can. Reading the ending lines, it looks like that part of the process worked. Let me attach it for you to see. |

Bizarre to say the least. And everything used to work just fine and then this problem suddenly started? |

I'm trying to think what changed (because something MUST have changed, otherwise this whole thing does not make any sense), but I cannot remember anything. I've also tried to redo the database with a clean install of MakeRwys, to see if the files were somehow corrupted, reinstalled the whole PF3 just in case, and attempted to repair my .net install, though it didn't find any errors. Also ran sfc /scannow in case my Windows was messed up, but it also didn't detect anything. |

Have you tried the .NET Framework Repair Tool? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/top ... 4a2f4b612a |

I did, yeah, it didn't detect anything out of the ordinary. |
