Thanks for looking at that Dave. I just thought that flying in a small GA aircraft and being vectored in the opposite direction of the destination for nearly 20 miles might be a bit unrealistic, especially when there is no other traffic around. It's probably how the tube liners do it, don't know about GA. I'm not a RWP so I am no expert. I guess that I will have to stick with VFR. |

If you're only flying small GA then try reducing the FAF distance, that will reduce the pattern |

I'm sure you'll let me know if it isn't ![]() Seriously though, I'd appreciate your feedback on whatever settings you try |

I don't want to steal Dave's thunder but an upcoming release will have a 'Profile' feature that allows you to save the PF3 program options as a named profile and I think Dave intended it for just this kind of situation. You will be able to adjust things like FAF distance, gate type, etc. and save the options for future use. ![]() |

Hi Dave, me again! I tried 5nm and that reduced the approach pattern. I then tried 1nm and that of course reduced it even more, so much that I like it. It's like doing a VFR pattern with vectors, which is what I wanted. Though it does get a bit hectic in the cockpit! Thanks for the help. Looking forward to the update with profiles. |

Thanks for the update. 1 Mile! Wow! Things must get quite rushed I'm sure, but if you're happy with it that's all that counts. |
