Please try running the PF3 Register program again, now you have the DirectX runtimes installed. Remember to right-click on it and select 'Run as Administrator'

It appears to be working now. I uninstalled and reinstalled PF3, had no sound, reinstalled the Direct x files and now have sound and the display windows so hopefully everything is ok now.
Will do a test flight this evening and report any probs. Hopefully everything will be ok as its driving me mad trying to troubleshoot all of last night and today. I think the display problems were caused by items being unchecked in the advanced options page. My fault for not reading the manual thorough enough.
