Interesting ... maybe there is a setting in MCE to avoid that? |

I have this issue awhile back and mentioned it on this forum, for some reason it didn't get pursued, so I gave up asking about it. Like chmenten, I learn't to put up with it as it seemed there was only a few users that mentioned it. So I doubted it would get investigated as it's a niggle that MCE users have with PF3 Rob |

I thought it sounded familiar, but I could not find (and still can't find) any reference to it. |

Rob, can you reproduce that the PTT hotkey stays active as long as you don't start MCE? Deactivate the autostart option of MCE and check the PF3.ini file as Thomas described. Thanks. Ralf |

Okay this is how I can get it to keep un-checking the VR button. 1) Right I load the sim and put a aircraft on a stand. 2) I load up PF3 and go to options and then hotkeys and make the VR option is active with a tick mark. 3) I then select my flight plan and connect it to the simulator. 4) I start MCE (PF3.ini still shows key active) 5) If I then disconnect PF3 from simulator, leaving the sim running, Now if I leave MCE left running or shut down first, the VR check box becomes "Unticked" I have tried this serval times and I can repeat it at will, but as soon as MCE has been loaded and running and you disconnect PF3 from the simulator the VR box is "Unticked" when you then check the hotkeys. However when I looked at the PF3.ini I didn't see a change in the active state of hotkey22 it always remained as 0027 and 1, but maybe that doesn't show up unless you do a restart of the PC or something. Anyway I hope that helps! Rob |

Rob, this might be a stupid question but did you close and reopen the PF3.ini file to check for the change on your step 4)? You won't see the change when you just keep the file opened I guess. And does the PTT hotkey work on your flights as it should? Your transmissions are never interrupted by other transmissions? When I do your five steps it is always on step 4) that the entry in the PF3.ini file changes to "hotkey22=0" (after closing and reopening the file). And the hotkey obviously does not work because my transmissions are interrupted regularly. Ralf |

Yes I can confirm that I closed the PF3.ini after every check, and in my personal example the hotkey22 always remained as "1". But during use I was always being interrupted with other comm's, so no it didn't function as intended which always lead to me checking if the VR button was still "ticked" obviously I find it isn't.
