Hi Bobsk8, Dan and Thomas Well, that's done it....I think. I always load the flight plan into ASNext.... erm, I thought I had to. ![]() Anyway, it seems the changes have worked. I flew the default Baron at 5000' from LFBO Toulouse to LSGG Geneva today. Perfect. Over really beautiful enhanced with addons photo scenery and it went perfectly and we even got the ILS to connect. The PF3 controller is set on 2 with the Nav' frequency checked. Saves me doing it. It was a bit of a shock to hear the controller telling me to 'taxi to terminal' but that was alright because there was a big'n just leaving, so I parked in the spot he came out of. Let's hope it carries on now. Thanks for all your help fellers. John |

Good news ![]() And you can reserve parking spots at airports, so PF3 always guides you to the same place. (if someone else is parking there, either use FSUIPC's traffic zapper, or modify the AFCAD to make the spot too small for AI aircraft to park there) |

Yes, I know I can reserve a parking spot Thomas, but that seems to me like cheating somehow, don't ask me why. Anyhow, I like to be guided to parking as sometimes its a bit of a surprise. At Bristol for instance, they seem always guide me to the East Parking which I never use as its the opposite side of the runway to the terminal. John |

I've been away due to my Mother's death and will be going back and forth to the UK for a while. As regards FAF and any other numbers that represent altitude on a chart. It is QNH. Because on all charts altitudes are always quoted as standard unless the chart specifically says "height" in which case it is QFE. So if your chart says FAF 3,500ft that is 3,500ft on the area QNH setting. It is NOT height above ground unless the chart specifically says so. |

Sorry to hear of your bereavement vololiberista. However, you've just introduced QNF into the topic. ![]() ![]() John |

Hopefully your dispatcher would have reserved a parking place/gate for you before your arrival. So PF3 is imitating that. I well remember a BMI flight into LHR some years ago when the gate was occupied and he had to taxi around the terminal for 20 minutes. |

All you need to remember is that any values on any chart that relate to altitude are QNH unless stated as otherwise. "Altitude" is above sea level, "Height" is above ground and "Elevation" is height above mean sea level. |
