If the taxi instructions from PF3 do not lead you to the runway, the AFCAD is problematic. Of course the routing algorithm could be improved to cope with that, but this would be very complicated. And I'd rather see Dave's time invested in other improvements where the same (or less) work can yield more value for us.

Any problems with the afcad are unfortunately/fortunately your problem and not Dave's. That's not to say that we can't help you. Things to look for is that the taxiways follow one another without a break or leading off in the wrong direction. As far as I can tell PF3 chooses the most expeditious route. I do have an outstanding query with Dave sending me to a closed grass runway though. Once I know how and why PF3 does that then I can adjust the afcad to prevent it happening again. Some afcads are quite complex so if TGS doesn't handle them well you will need to tweak the taxiway routes i.e. simplify them!!

On my very old system, I found I needed to increase the priority of the TGS.exe process in Windows Task Manager in order to get any reasonable function from TGS. Otherwise there was too much delay for TGS to be useful. (My PC is from the last ice age so on your setup this may or may not be an issue.) Usually once you start moving, the voice guidance will kick in.

You do face the right direction after pushback?
