Yes, I have shared all the relevant folders for P3D, plus a Downloads folder for moving files conveniently from one computer to the other. From computer2 I can see all their contents in Computer1.

So when rebuilding the database and you're promoted to select the runways can file can't you navigate to the p3d folder?

No, there is no sign of any of my Network locations - for example, X is P3D main folder, R is P3D Files.

Edit: Closed and opened PF3. It did an auto update. There is now a new section in the offending window for Network locations and an option to add a new location. I added one for the network address of my P3D folder. It found the folder, and Runways.csv, and has no completed the rebuild.

Computer just get curiouser and curiouser! :roll:

Hi again,

I've had numerous problems since my last message, the computer related one, not connected to PF3, meant a complete reinstall of P3D and addons.

I have rebuilt the PF3 database but on connecting I get the message, "FS MUST be running BEFORE starting PF3".

Below is a copy from my PF3.ini file.

[Rebuild]
P3DPath=X:\
FSXPath=\\JIM-PC\Prepar3D v3\
LastRebuild=4/10/2016 2:02:01 PM
LastFS=10
MakeRwys_Version=Make Runways File: Version 4.693 by Pete Dowson
[FlightPlans]
SourceP=R:\

Have I done something stupid?

Yes..................but.............I clean forgot to start Wide FS!

Sorry to have troubled you, Dave. I can't believe I forgot Wide FS. I'm definitely past it!

That's more than a little worrying! :roll:

Problem solved. Now to actually try a PF3 controlled flight.

Cheers, Jim
