I'm trying to stay at 6000 feet till my last waypoint on my SID soon as i takeoff its not long till i hit 6000 and atc are telling me to climb?


Got another problem ATC doesn't clear me for descent i stay cruising waiting for descent i'm still on course at fl230 i pass kidli my first waypoint for my star and atc comes to life giving the speal for the star.

The SID ends when you reach the SID altitude or the first waypoint, whichever occurs first.

Yes thats all working but what am trying to say is how do i stay at 6000 without ATC tellin me to climb during my SID? Or will i just ignore it till the end of my SID?

Need your advice also do you have to change the alt which are in the fp except for the cruise alt if its higher or lower than your external FP?

ATC will not tell you to climb during your SID if you have set it up correctly. Did ATC actually 'clear' you to use the SID? And what altitude have you got the SID set to?

You should adjust your FP altitudes from within PFE if you need to change them at all.

Hi i set up the SID in the sids page gave it a name TLA6D and set the alt comp to 6000

I then when't into the fp set the end of sid and entered 6000 into the box to the right of it?

Have i done everything right?

Also for my STAR will i have to set an alt for the start of the STAR?

Thats why i think i didn't get a descent because i changed 3 waypoints to fl230 (cruising alt) to the start of my star and once i arrived at my star still at cruising level atc then cleared me?

What do you think? You think i should leave alt leading to my star?

Forgot to mention ATC did clear me for my SID

If you want your SID to end at the first waypoint you don't have to add anything in the PFE FP waypoint entry. However, if you have you SID set to 6,000', once you reach 6,000' PFE will assume the SID is complete and then give you further climb instructions. That is how it's designed to work, so you don't have a problem.
