Hi John
When you connect to P3D PF3 will create a folder under your main P3D folder called PF3_Display, does that exist on your system? If it's not there then there must be an 'access' problem. Try creating the folder manually then retry PF3_Display. Windows 10 can be a funny beast with regard to such things. If, after creating it manually it still doesn't work please check inside your newly created folder to see if you have a file named PF3_Freqs.dat (although at this point I would guess not).
Please let me know how you get on
With regard Multicom you would only use hotkey #6 when entering the runway and #8 when departing the area
Hi Dave
I do have a folder in my main P3D folder called PF3_display. It has a file inside called PF3_freqs.dat, however the file is only 1kb in size.
I have re downloaded the demo file with the same result. The pf3_display exe still does not work.
Also, I note in the manual that the electronic kneeboard displays comms for your departure airport which allows you to know the correct frequency. As this doesn't work in P3D, is there any other way to obtain the correct freq? I ask this as I use FSTramp to get my freqs. However, if you go to YBTH, FSTramp shows 3 different Multicoms and 1 CTAF.
Any help for the above is much appreciated.
John
