Hi Thomas.
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, FS Commander does not recognise the compiled "adventure" files produced by ProFlight 2000.
I have even tried to rename those files, by removing the PFE prefix, but FS Commander then just says that it is not a valid flight plan?
Of course, I could just use FS Commander to produce a flight plan anyway, but I have "read" that FS Commander flight plans are not very good, and even then ProFlight2000 even "adjusts" those flight plans with varying altitudes and "dropped" waypoints!
I don't understand what is happening? PFE does state that some waypoints that are too close together "may" be dropped, but it does drop waypoints that are up to 50nm apart! It is not consistent! It also writes waypoints that do not then actually show up in FS Commander, only the route shows, but the waypoint data is missing!
Of course there is always the long workaround, and that would be to manually input an FsBuild flight plan into both FS Commander, and the FMC, but there is no way of manually inputting a flight plan into PFE! And that would be an awful lot of typing to do!
Thanks for your suggestion and input though. Much appreciated.
Regards.
Terry
