Occasionally I enjoy replaying a Flight Plan from different locations of the Plan. I realize that in PFE you can only replay the LAST plan played, whereas FSX saved flights can take you here and there depending on your SAVED flights. Can that be implemented in PFE? Possibly by saving and keeping the FILE that PFE generates to save for the LAST PLAN?

Appreciate any input.
Thanks
Abe

Hi Dave,
Just discovered that I CAN replay a 'SAVED' flight plan on FSX even though it is NOT the LAST plan played, as long as it was played ONCE on PFE. Apparently the DATA in PFE is retained. Correct?

Thanks.

Dave,

Like I mentioned in my initial post, I do save some flights in FSX. All I have to do is click on the saved snapshot of the flight, and that would take me to the SPOT where I left off and I can CONTINUE the flight from where I left off. If I am using PFE and choose that Flight as my LAST flight, PFE picks up the FLIGHT and continues on with the flight, as if I started the flight with PFE and resumes the flight to the end. What I added in my second post, was that, not only I do not have to choose the LAST PFE FLIGHT PLAN, but ANY flight plan that I had used with PFE. It all seems SCRAMBLED, sorry, maybe somebody else can PARAPHRASE what I am trying to say.

Thanks.
Abe

Abe,

What you're experiencing is a fluke. I'd like to say it was programmed that way but alas not. The only 'precise' way to enable a restart is to use the restart feature available in PFE and of course save your flight data in FS periodically also.

Thanks, Dave,

I'll abide by your rules. I am really enjoying PFE as you created it. It's lots of FUN, AS IS!! Thanks also for the advice as far as backing up the data. I do that constantly.

Cheers,

Abe
