Dave,
Sorry for disturbing you, but the very famous Error: 429 is back again with description : ActiveX component can't create object in 'SetupDirectSound' routine
This happened after removing all the outdated Java versions and fresh install of the latest one (could be important to mention this).
To correct this issue, I firstly run the cumulative pgm on both applications as previously proposed by you but, this time, without success.
After, and because I don't like to disturb busy sim products developpers, i have downloaded the last version of PFE from SimMarket (2.14.0) and installed it on a different disk (D:) after complete removal of the original one on the C: drive.
I was hoping that, if a piece of program was missing, a full new installation would help to sort out this issue... I am afraid that it didn't.
Actually, both programs are perfectly working as stand-alone processes but fail when connected to the FS.
Could it be caused by a missing/damaged vb program or dll ? You have the code so maybe could you give me a little help.
In advance, I thank you.
George Henman
