Hi all,
browsing through the forum (very nice BTW) I'm trying to find out if new call signs can be added or edited?
Does PFE use any of Editvoicepack mods? Loving the realism just wish I could add my VA somehow.

Regards,

Punch ;)

I would say that any editing/recording can be done at your own risk, providing you back up first.
You would need to record and slot the wav files into the appropriate folders, but the best person to say about this is the boss...Dave M

You can't use editvoicepack but manual editing is possible. Drop me an email and I'll send a listing of all the voice files.

Thanx Dave,
got the list but can't seem to get my recordings to play :(
Thought I'd saved as same format......... Mono, 11025Hz, 32-bit float .
Is there something I've missed ?

Sure,
was using WavEditor to create and save the files I wanted to change but although it was saving as Mono, 11025Hz, 32-bit float , it saved as 16bit instead of 8bit (bitrate 88Kbps)
Found another editor online (AVS AudioEditor) and problem solved :D

Also for getting my new airline to display in the caption window I changed the corresponding line in the Captions.ini file located in main PFE folder. (Backup first of-cause)

End results......................http://youtu.be/jSJgExhhrKo

Big shout to dmarch for the Wavs list ;)

Punch.
