How do you set the 'Target destination' when converting files?

From the manual 7.2.17 'Flight Plan Convertor Options':-

'select any one of the files listed, then select Open and the location will be saved for the next time you use it'

This should open up the 'Select a FS9/FSX Flight Plan' window except that it doesn't! I cannot figure out how you get to Open so my target stays at the default c:\........ Flight Simulator Files rather that the Pilots folder.

Also the 'Change Dest' button does not work either.

Any ideas?

Hi Dave,

Are you referring to the Oncourse 166 page one? If so yes I have read it, and that is where my quotes where from.

Is there a specific something that i should have done when configuring? As I say the instructions did not give an 'open' choice. The 'select a fs9/fsx flight plan' window does not appear

Dave,

Can't exactly remember! Probably just my basic inability in working with Windows and eventually after trying all permutations i got the correct sequence.

However the manual did not help. There is no 'open' option available according to the sequence described, nor did I get the window illustrated (with the open button) so that confused me.

I have PFE installed in the Programmes (x86) folder, which I now note is not recomended with Win 7. I am having another problem of getting a 'not enough memory' message and the programme clsing down after selecting the ? help key. I see others have had this too.

Could it be that these are all connected with the installation location?

Regards

John Forrester

Running PFE from that folder can cause numerous issues
