I just bought FDC, and ive been trying to get it to work for awhile now. I have reinstalled with no AV enabled, but that didnt help. I installed with administration rights in D partition and in Program Files folder. I also have tryed to run FDC with admin rights, but i still get same 429 error when i try to connect FDC to FSX.
I also ran the two files in FDC folder (PFE_V312_System.EXE, Sysinfo_inst.EXE), but that didnt solve problem either.

Now i'm not sure what to try next. I'm running Windows 8 64-bit, so maybe that's a problem, but i'm not sure. I have FSecure's Internet Security 2013 which i did disable when i reinstalled FDC. I also have the latest FSUIPC installed. FDC version which im running is version 3.14.0.

and what else i'm missing now... UAC is off, so that's not it either...

Please download and instal the latest cumulative updates package from our support forum, when installing please ensure you stop ALL other programs, especially your anti virus and any other security type programs you might have.

If you're running Windows Vista or later do NOT instal into the default "c:/program files" folder, because Windows regards that as a protected area and well prevent certain files being written and/or updated. I appreciate the installer defaults to that location but the publisher wrote the instal script long before Vista hit the shelves.

I have just bought FDC Live from Aerosoft and am having the Error 429. I have read the forms and tried all of the fixes. I am running windows 7 for FS9. I installed the program with my anti virus and firewall off. The program is installed on my C:/Flight Simulator/FS2004/FDC Live folder. I have also ran an registry cleaner program made by poinstone. In the end every time I press connect I receive the 429... Can't create object in Setup Direct Sound. My FSUPC version is 3.998n(registered to me) Is there anything else that I am missing? MY FDC Live version is 3.14 and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall 3 times.

No I did not install any updates. I downloaded the program from Aerosoft on Sunday and the file shows version. What updates are there after that? Where do I find them, and in what order?
