I have version 3.7.9. of FDC live cockpit. I am running FSX with Windows 8. It runs fine. I don't think this is a Win 8 problem as I had the same problem with Win 7. But the FDC seems to perform the checklists whenever it wants to. For instance, the taxi checks come just before takeoff. The Climb checks don't come at all. Sometime the spacebar, or control spacebar works and other times it just moves the cockpit or the screen I'm in. I use Auto 1 but often I have to hit Ctr Spacebar which as I said, doesn't always work. This is a magnificent program and I'm frustrated as hell about it not working properly. The cabin announcements seem to work alright. Any help would be eternally appreciated. Thanks, Rich

Sorry to hear you're having problems with our software buy you're using a very old and unsupported version.

Please download and instal the latest cumulative updates package from our support forum, when installing please ensure you stop ALL other programs, especially your anti virus and any other security type programs you might have.

If you're running Windows Vista or later do NOT instal into the default "c:/program files" folder, because Windows regards that as a protected area and will prevent certain files being written and/or updated. I appreciate the installer defaults to that location but the publisher wrote the instal script long before Vista hit the shelves.

Hope that helps

How could 3.7.9 be an old and unsupported version? That's what is being sold on flightsim.com. Rich PS Where is the newest version?
