Post subject: Missing Pilot's Initial Briefing

I'm having two problems. I don't here the PIC giving his FO a briefing, and the pilot doesn't tell the cabin crew to prepare for take off until it's actually going down the runway taking off. How can I fix this?

A little support would be nice if anyone has the answer on why there is no preflight briefing given by the pilot in command to his co-pilot?

Its Easter, I doubt Dave is around at the moment and I can't help because I don't have anything to do with FDC, sorry.

I would imagine you haven't got things correctly configured because both those features work

You're right Dave, I didn't. I figured out what I was doing wrong, and since then have corrected the mistake. Thanks for responding, enjoy your day.
