Dave: I am flying a 757-200 by QualityWings...Excellent panel..However some items do now work well with my GoFlight MCP and PFC hardware...

I installed your 757-200 FDC files for my use...I have tweeked them as needed for my flights...

The only issue I have is just after TakeOff I get "Flaps one" and "Flaps up".. I am rotating at around 150K.. and just beging to climb... I don't want to change all the T/O performance numbers..

Any Suggestions ??

Thanks
Ray Lunning

Hi Ray,
i'll have a look...maybe tonight,if not tomorrow and let you know, you may want to add say 10kts to all in column F0 for starters and see how you get on...

Hi Ray,
just loaded up PSS version with 35% fuel and some trim, rotated at the correct speed, climbed to about 800feet and got call for flaps and gear up....are you getting this or are the calls coming straight after you rotate....

Dave: I made the +10 adjustments to the FO column.. I am flying a QualityWings 757-200 at 240,000 gross wt...I use Flaps 5 for takeoff.. Just after rotation and liftoff I get "Flaps 1" then "Flaps up".. I didn't check the altitude as I was watching the airspeed...However I am sure I was below 5/6 hundred feet.. I was about 180 to 190 knots as I got the call..

I usually fly my jets to accelerate to 210 or 220 knots and climb to the first assigined altitude..usually 3 or 4 thousand...from where departure will give me further instructions...

I would not expect to Flaps 1 of up until I am at 210K and at least 3000 ft...

I fly my 737 this way without any problems....I have used my own Performance Files and Check lists.. For this 757-200 I used your version and modified it for my use...

I can't recall any real flight where we got Flaps Up just after take-off..

Thanks...Ray

Hi Ray,
you shouldn't have got that call....so is FDC reading something else in the aircraft.cfg, think you might need to pass this to DM,as the profile is set for flaps up after T/O

Dave L: The QW 757-200 has Flaps 1 240K, Flaps 5 220K and Flaps 15 210K.

I can use Flaps 5 or 15 for TO.. I usually use Flaps 5.. After TO I should not get a Flaps Up until I hit 240K max for Flaps 1... Should I TO and climb to , say 5000ft and hold 210K I should be able to leave the Flaps at 5...

Or did I miss something...

Ray

Yes...you can do that,or max 230kts depending on weight and fuel and climbing about 1500ft per minute

Dave L: Everything is fixed for my use... I changed all the numbers in the Performance TakeOff flap speeds...

Not sure where all the numbers that were there came from..

Thanks....Ray
