Hi,

Any ideas how I overcome the following frustrations with fdc:-

1. In the pmdg 747 the PNF sets the flaps for me when i start to taxi but they only set them to 10 when i like to takeoff with flaps 20. How do I get them to set 20??

2. When I manually start the engines I start with 4 and the PNF announces certain values of the engine. When n1 gets to around 14 I flick fuel switch and the engine continues to start but the FDC PNF voice continues on making comments like start 4 for a whilst after it has started.. Any ideas how to fix??

Thanks

Hi,
i take it you are using my profile for PMDG 747?
Question 1: You can edit the Performance file to read flaps 20 if you prefer,or just move the flaps to 20 on the dial..

Question 2:YES...flick the fuel switch to "on" before you even start the engines...

Answer to all this....yes i do have PMDG 747 Queen of the skies... :)

1. I'm not using your pmdg profile. When I select load profile it says none are there. Where can I download it from?

2. Is flicking the fuel switch to on before starting the engines the correct procedure??

Can't answer that one i'm afraid about the fuel switch procedure, but it stops any repeating from your PNF by activating it first.

Download it from our main page of oncourse website, click on FDC tab and search for downloads or from http://www.flightsim.com and search FDC in box, scroll up or down till you find pmdg 747 profile...
