I have the latest boxed version (FDC2011) and cannot get any sound. For example when testing the crew voices.
My sound card works OK and the sound is not muted on the speakers icon on the task bar.

Well if your not getting any error messages it has to be a system configuration issue. If your actually connecting to fs with no problem and fdc is creating a black box login the fdc/logs folder please email out to me

Probably didn't explain too well. So this is the route I took.
Ran the repair utility to see if that fixed the problem, it didn't, so uninstalled reinstalled, it didn't fix it either.
I am using the default 737-700 profile and BEFORE connecting to FSX tried to set a different voice set for Captain and Co-Pilot, but on testing no voice sound was heard.
FDC is connecting to FSX no problem and I have checked the black box login and it shows the date as 23/07/04 with a few issues which can't be relevant to my problem because of the date.
Where is the FDC/logs folder? I have done a search but can,t find it.
My system is Windows 7 64bit quad core.
Hope this makes it a little clearer.

The LOGS folder is inside the main FDC folder, wherever you installed it.
