Hi guys,

beginning with the version 1.84 I updated PFE step by step to version 2.6 always using the "check for updates" button. Since version 2.6 that didn't work anymore. Looking into the support forum I noticed that the current version is already 2.11.1. Certainly I want to run this version.
In the update folder I've found the file version 2.6.0.log. Obviously this file is created or updated whenever an update has been requested. The last line contains: FAILED to download Control File...Perhaps this could be a hint for a solution.
I've already checked if the firewall settings could block the access to the update website, but it's got a free access.
Can somebody give me an advice what to do?

Please see the post listed below if you are having difficulties updating any further than version 2.6, a manual update will be required but its not too difficult to achieve.
