JF Fokker 100 0 flaps MSFS

Post by mllgrennman »

Hi. I can't get FDC to connect to the JF Fokker 100 in MSFS. It says it has flaps 0. I was able to mod FSX aircraft flaps section in the past but I dont know what to do here.

Hi there,

Are you saying that this same aircraft was working OK in FSX but the same profile isn't working in MSFS? I don't have MSFS but this is what I would check in another simulator:

Options > Edit File > Select the aircraft > Load Template
and you should be at a screen that allows you to choose the number of flaps by checking the relevant boxes.
Then Save, Close

It doesn't matter if I check the right number of flaps boxes...or any number of boxes...FDC keeps saying this aircraft has 0 flaps...it's not even reading it right to begin with. I was able to fix this in FSX with any plane that did this. But I don't know how to do it in MSFS.

OK, sorry then, I don't think I can help you there - I guess there is something non-standard about that specific aircraft that causes that. I hope somebody else on here can assist.

Best regards,

John

PS - found this thread concerning the Just Flight Fokker 27, in case it helps:

Have you tried creating a custom profile for that a/c?
