Recently, I have noticed that when I tune arrival ATIS frequency, I get wind information which is based on my current position in the air. For example, when I tune ATIS around 150nM away from arrival airport, I receive wind information at fl320 level ( wind 150/79, temp -52 etc). This is happening recently. Also, I always get dewpoint info as 0.
Do I need to change any setting?

Best wishes
Ash

The reason this is happening is due to the online weather system file has not been correctly registered on your system. Subsequently we have to use weather supplied by Asobo which is only local to your aircraft.

Please try the following.

Locate the file named PF3_Register.exe in your main PF3 folder. Right-click on it and select 'Run as Administrator). Wait for 15-20 seconds, you want see anything displayed. Then check in the C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319 folder for a file named system.tlb... it should have the current date and time. If correct please try another flight and let us know how you get on and please do attach the debug log. If you think you still have a problem or the system.tlb file is missing or doesn't have todays' date it could be your anti-virus preventing the registration.

Hi Dave
Thank you for getting back to me.
I followed the steps suggested by you. I have system.tlb file but not the today's date. PF3 has permission to run as admin. I dont have specific antivirus apart from window 11 antivirus system. I disabled it and followed your steps again but still tlb file is out of date. What should i do for correct setting?

Thanks in advance

Hi
Thanks for your help. It is working perfectly as it should be. I could get accurate ATIS when near the airport. I tuned to arrival ATIS frequency and it worked with correct winds, temp dewpoint and runway. Thanks for your help.

Best wishes
Ash
