Hi Dave,

I want to move my PF3 installation out of my Program Files folder to a dedicated folder on my root drive. Do I need to Deactivate PF3 first?

Thanks
Bill

You shouldn't need to deactivate but if it does complain when running from another folder just email me direct and I can soon reset everything for you.

I created a folder called 'FS-Addons' under which I have installed various add-ons, including PF3, MakeRwys and Little NavMap.
I also copied my main PF3 folder into another called 'PF3-Test' which I use for testing the new versions Dave gives me to try; it works just fine.

Dave,
To be safe, I bit the bullet and deactivated, expecting some pain when I tried to reactivate. Pleased to report no pain at all :D . All went smoothly, copied over all my user settings and updated to 3.22 (although I did have an issue with Auto-Update and had to download the cumulative update and install manually).

Martin,
I'm pleased to say, all my addons are now in a dedicated MSFS ADDONS folder :D

Thanks tor all your help guys.

Cheers
Bill

Hopefully the latest version of the updater, which you will now have as part of 3.22.0, should address any auto-update issues, but do let us know if not.
