Hi Dave, perhaps i am misinterpreting the ATC but on this flight the log should indicate that I requested flight following. Shortly after takeoff I get the radar services terminated message. I figure that means no flight following. Is my assumption correct and if so, why?
Also, no matter what I do in FS2020 or PF3 I continue to get ATC chatter to/from other aircraft. What setting have I missed?

You're flying VFR Free Flight mode. Please see section 8.20.2 VFR Free Flight in the PF3 User Guide for full details.

As for hearing Ai chatter, what's the problem exactly? Don't you want to hear it?

Dave, of course the handoff to another center makes absolute sense. I'm sure at some point I was aware of that, aging sucks. As far as the ATC chatter, understand i like flying the east coast of Florida and that is very busy corridor, so there is a lot of ATC chatter mostly with commercial aircraft well above me.

So you're not hearing enough chatter? You will only hear other aircraft on the same frequency as yourself
