To whom it may concern,

I'm using PF3 v 3.16.0, but PF3 just won't guide me to the route of the loaded flight plan (PF3 supports the ridiculous Heading. Altitude instructions seem to be fine.
Is there something wrong with the settings? (I'm referring to the tutorial video)? Please give me some appropriate advice.

Thank you in advance.

Yoshi

Please upload the debug_monitor.log file so that we can analyse what you, and PF3, were doing and try to provide some assistance.

Thanks,
Martin

Also, you're using a completely unsupported version of PF3 (3.16.0). Please use the Check for Updates options and if that states there are no updates please go to the Maintenance post at the top of this forum to download and install the latest version which is 3.21.0

Dear Martin,

I have updated to version 3.21.0, but the issue with vectors still persists. Could you please provide me with the basic method or procedure to make the ‘request vectors’ function work properly?”
I'm trying to send the debug-monitor log file, but I get the error "The extension log is not allowed".

This is another question. What kind of data should I put in the SID folder and Star folder in the PF3 folder? (Is there AIRAC data specific to PF3?)

Thank you,

Yoshi

You have to ZIP the log file before attaching it to your post

The SIDs and STARs folders are for PF3 use, you don't have to put anything in them

The reason you are not receiving vectors at the start of your flight and at the end is because you have both SID and STAR selected. ATC cleared you to fly the SID and also the STAR, but it doesn't look like you did so. Also PF3 does not give you heading directions during your flight and just like in the real world you are expected to follow your flight plan. The nbedt way to do so is obviously using your FMC.

Please see the section 20.5 A word about SID/STAR use in PF3 in the PF3 User Guide for more details.

I trust this answers your query appropriately.

Dear Martin,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I'm still new to flight simulator operating techniques, and it's difficult for me to understand the PF3 manual in English.

I'll read the manual more carefully.

Thank you again.

Yoshi
