Thanks for this - it shows me that everything is working as it should, even if it's keeping quiet about it!
A tweaked version of the updater is now available, and will be downloaded and installed automatically the next time a check is run.
With the new version a message is displayed if you are already running the latest beta - this was an omission on my part in the previous version.
