I can't seem to trace the thread we had discussin the display exe problems.

You asked me to try the web display and send you a screen and the ini files

here they are.

The existing thread is here: http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/forums/vie ... php?t=4249

Thanks for the screenshot and the .ini files; I'm a bit confused as I was expecting more information than you're showing, something more like this:

Could you possibly upload the PF3WebDisplay.log file from the PF3_WEB_Display directory? - this should show exactly what Web Display is doing.
Also, please can you confirm the version of Web Display that you are using (right-click on the file, Properties, Details tab, Product Version)?

Thanks,
Martin

As I get older I get a little slower. I had moved the web display exe and ini to the display directory.

Running it from the web display folder I get the attached result.

The web display version is 1.1.2

Thanks

Doug

OK, so Web Display was unable to connect to PF3 this time - there are several possible reasons:
1) PF3 was not actually running at this time, or was not connected to flight sim (so port not open)
2) PF3 was running, but PF3 Display was already connected and using port 1010
3) PF3 was running, but on a different IP address (although, looking at a previous screenshot, I think this is unlikely)

Please could you perhaps try again, first making sure that PF3 is running and connected to FS, but without starting PF3 Display.
If you then get the 'Listening on ...' message, please can you try opening the web page from your browser (http://10.0.0.50:7339/) and see what happens.
It would also be helpful if you could attach the PF3 Debug Monitor log from when you try this.

Thanks, Martin

Hi Doug, apologies for the delay in responding - I've been away from flight sim for the past week or so and hadn't seen your reply.

I've been looking back at this issue while enjoying my first coffee of the day - I'd forgotten that this was originally raised nearly a year ago!

I can't see anything obviously wrong in the debug monitor log that you sent through so I think we're going to have to go back to first principles.

I am happy to try to assist you via Teamviewer if that works for you - I know that Dave had a look last year but didn't find anything.

Cheers, Martin

That would be fine. I don't have much of a schedule as I'm retired. Let me know day and times that work for you and let me check my schedule.

Thanks

Doug

I'm in the same position - I'll look at my diary and come back with some options over the coming days.
