Hi guys

Coming from Pilot2atc to now PF3 and watched a few online videos on how to set things up and this will be my first flight, so just wanting to double check all is fine and I should get vectored down to the glideslope

Depart EGPH and Arriving at LEIB

EGPH
Cumbo New Alt 4500 DP
Gosam Alt Alt 6000
Elbus 35000
blah
blah
Corda New Alt 5000 ST
IB728 New Alt 4000
IB925 New Alt 3500
Demev New Alt 3000
LEIB

Does that sound about right?

Your flight plan assumes you will be departing and landing to the northeast, which may not be the case (depending on weather or AI activity). I would probably set it up as follows:

EGPH
GOSAM (DP)
ELBUS
etc.
CORDA (ST)
IB810
ADX
LEIB

The advantage of setting it up this way is the flight plan can be used regardless which runway is active at your departure and destination airports. Ideally the last waypoint in PF3 should be 25-45 miles from the destination, but in this case it's about 60 miles which should work. You will cross IB810 and ADX regardless which runway is active for landing.

If you designate GOSAM as DP, this activates the SID function and you WILL NOT get vectors after takeoff. You will need to navigate to GOSAM on your own. If you want to be vectored to GOSAM do not set a DP waypoint at all, and do not check the SIDs box on the SID/STAR page before the flight. PF3 will vector you to GOSAM.

If you do NOT check the STARs box on the SID/STAR page before the flight, PF3 will begin vectoring you when you reach your last waypoint (ADX). You will be vectored off the STAR at this point, and you will follow vectors to the active runway. If you check the STARs box on the SID/STAR page before the flight, you will not get vectors after ADX. You will be cleared to complete the approach to the active runway at pilot's discretion and you can fly the rest of the STAR waypoints in your FMC (even though they are not in your PF3 flight plan).

See section 20.5 in the User Guide for more info. Each case is a bit different but this section provides a general guide.
