Can't get Demo fully operational

I am sure it is my fault, but I can't get the Demo to properly work.
I have ATIS both with captions and sound but no other messages, no text, no voice.
I tried the register option. I installed the runtimes and the DirectX files.
The logs are attached.
Thanks for having a look.

You didn't tune to any ATC facility nor did you use any hotkeys to make contact... that's why you didn't hear anything

I tried Ground and Tower after ATIS and checked that the frequencies were right.
It may very well have to do with the hotkeys, but the ones I tried didn't do anything.
How can I check the hotkeys?

According to the log file you didn't use any hotkeys

You can go to the hotkeys configuration page from Options #1 and change an keys you wish. Also you need to ensure the keys you choose are not currently in use in FS
