I got a "fatal error" two flights back and figured it was just an anomaly with FS 2020 (God knows there are plenty of those), but I just go another one and figured it's worth looking into since these are the first "fatal errors" I've ever seen with PF3 in MSFS 2020 or Prepar3D.

Running Windows 11 Pro 22H2, ver 22621.1 but there were no Windows updates between the first and the second fatal error. Flying the PMDG 737-7 in both cases.

Logs are attached.

As always...Thanks!

Mike T.

Mmmmmmh, never seen this before. It's complaining about not being able to use the .NET assembly we need to grab online weather.

Please check you have the following file on your system

C:\WINDOWS\\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\system.tlb

If not, please locate the PF3_Register.exe file in your main PF3 folder, right-click on it and select 'Run as Administrator'. Wait 20 seconds then check to ensure the above file have been created

Please let us know how you get on

I don't know if my memory is getting worse as I get older...
...I just can't remember how it used to be!

Thanks Dave. I followed your directions and just completed a nice long flight to test (MMUN - KIAD) and no issues what-so-ever.

BTW, system.tlb was already there however. I uninstalled .Net Framework 4.0.30319, rebooted, reinstalled .Net Framework again, rebooted, and then ran PF3_Register.exe.

Thanks again!
