I take no credit for this at all, but I managed to get the pf3 webdisplay icon (custom panel) to show in MSFS using the information in the link below and a small edit to the layout.json file using notepad.

Thanks for this, I'll take a look - I tried to resolve this with the last release but always ended up with a blank icon.
