Hello there,

I'm getting an issue since the latest versions of PF3. I haven't had the opportunity yet to try the latest improvements and I'm glad to see PF3 moving forward with great new features.
However I've met an issue with PF3 displayer as it will not connect to the simulator, the two red lights remains red and no frequencies are being displayed, PF3 itself connects properly.

I've check the PF3 display ini file and the port is 1010 just like the one in PF3.ini.
The PF3 server entry is properly set to my PC name, same for PF3.ini.
Only one line in PF3.ini captured my attention : PF3DispActive=0
Is this normal? If not, how could it have changed without any input from me?

[PF3Display]
PF3DispActive=0
SocketPort3=1010

A quick question related to this as I discovered this issue after trying to answer this by myself: is there any way to get the Dept / Arrival frequencies on the new P3D ACARS window on request?
This would be much easier than using a second window (as my 2nd monitors is mainly for charts etc).

Thanks by advance for the help !

You need to 'Activate' PF3 Display from the Options #2/Advanced Options page. The new PF3 Display doesn't use FSUIPC and uses TCP/IP instead. it is OFF by default.

There is currently no way to request the local frequencies, which is why you can configure to have them popup when first connecting to FS

Many thanks for the very quick answer, that clears things up, sorry for the stupid question.
I took a look at the manual but missed the fact I had to activate PF3 display.

Could a way to request the local frequencies be considered for a future update? I indeed selected the option to see them popping when connecting to the sim, but I can't remember them all after 30 mins on the ground.

I will certainly consider it... should be easy enough... but then if you use PF3 Display you have the frequencies available at anytime.

Yes but that's the whole point actually, not to use PF3 display anymore as I personally don't find it convenient enough with 2 monitors, it would be fine with 3 though.
Thanks for considering it :)
