Okay, if you have the correct PFEServer entry in the RemoteText.INI pointing to the PC running PF3 (either computer name or IP address) AND the PFEPort shown in the RemoteText.INI file is the same as that shown in PF3 (just below where you activated it)... the default, unless you changed it, is 1008 then you have everything setup correctly.
The only other reason preventing it then could be your Antivirus and/or Firewall. I say and/or because they are combined with most AV's. I had the very same issue with my AV (AVG) and have had to open the various TCP/IP ports to allow RemoteText and PF3 Display utilities to 'connect' with PF3.
