Hi All,
Hello FDC Support Team,

Sorry, but i didn't find anything relevant in the forum about it...
I would like to know how can i work it out to hear my vcp the "engine stable" call - and therefore continuing automatically withe the checklist point "after start chkl"
I tried everything:
checked the box "engine startup calls"
used the box "after start checklist begins" 5 sec after starting engines...
Is it necessary to use a certain call from the checklist ?
BTW, i have made a checklist for the Mooney bravo and would like hear the "engine stable" call ;-)

thanks in advance
mike

sorry for my bad English, but I'm a native german speaker ;-)

Does your 'Before Start' checklist run through okay?

Does the 'After Start' checklist list start when you have started your engines but you just don't hear the VCP calling our 'Start number 1', etc?

Hi Dave,

1.) Yes, my 'Before Start' checklist runs without problems !
2.) No, my After Start' checklist dont starts automatically - i have to start it manually (Ctrl-Space)
- then it works, but the VCP seems not to recognize the engine start !?

Well let's do one thing at a time. If you had this problem with the last flight you did then please send me the blackbox.log file from the main FDC\Logs folder

Hi Dave,

i send you an actual blackbox.log - I started a flight, then i aborted it after the (manually) started 'After Start Checklist !
I hope thats enough information for you, or is it necessary to make a full flight ?

g Mike

That should be enough but it's getting late now so I probably won't get a chance to look at it till tomorrow

As a process of elimination please enable the Before Push Back Checks (you have them turned off) and see if that makes any difference

I enabled the Before Push Back Checks but it makes no difference - no automatic 'engine stable' call i have to start the checklist manually !?
BTW, it doesn't work on any checklist...
...do you think its a problem with the checklist or probably some other features of the program ?

thanks in advance
mike

Hi Dave,

For the moment i solved the problem:
I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole program again - and now it works :-)
- even with my own selfmade checklists !?
But unfortunately i really dont know how to avoid this problem in the future !

Thank you Dave for your endeavour
Mike
