Altitudes during approach

Similarly to the P3Dv3.4 and all its predecessors, it seems impossible for ATC controllers to take into account the ground altitudes when on the approach phase of the flight.

The result is that obeying the instructions can result in a crash into the side of a mountain!

I would love it if the approach altitudes could take this into account in a future upgrade.

PF3 doesn't know anything about mountains. It knows the ground elevation beneath your aircraft but nothing about what awaits you going forward! If flying into a mountainous area you really need to study the relevant approach procedures and plan your flight accordingly.
