I just did a YSSY-WSSS flight and the Program stopped post Oceanic and I proceeded in silence to destination. Manual descent requests and manually going to TWR frequency did not work. However, the program was still connected as I could get the ATIS, change closed caption, etc. Logs are attached.

I don't discount user error however I am not sure what that would be!

Thanks.

Mark

The problem appears to be you were not tuned to the correct frequency. This was because you were not handed off and the reason for that I'm still looking into. Going forward if you use the PF3 Display utility it will show you the frequency you should be tuned to and should this problem occur again you could simply tune to the correct control frequency and manually make contact. I will address this in the next maintenance release.

I don't know if my memory is getting worse as I get older...
...I just can't remember how it used to be!

Thanks David, I will read up on using the display utility to check, for future flights. BTW I did the flight again a few days later albeit on a completely different ATS route and it worked fine, go figure!

Regards,

Mark

Edit - just read the manual re the Display Utility. Gold, amazing how you can use something everyday and not know of such little Easter eggs 🥚

Yeah I know... I'm still finding little treasures and I developed it! But that's more down to failing memory! ;-)
