Just a tiny little thing, but whenever ATC asks me to 'Standby', after a change of runway request for instance, there is no delay at all - the answer comes back instantly.

I'd thought that there was something, somewhere to enable a user to set a delay for this in seconds, but I can't see anything in the options windows or in the ini file. Did I imagine/dream that this delay is user settable? If I did not, how do I set, say, a ten-second delay?

Thanks. :)

You may be thinking of the push-to-talk pause interval, which is configurable.

Not even sure now what the 'push to talk' interval is :)

As I say, this is (obviously) not a 'biggie' at all, but it would be nice to have some sort of realistic gap (even five seconds) after ATC asks me to stand by rather than an instantaneous response, but perhaps that's not currently do-able then..

I think the "Standby" is there because PF3 needs some time to calculate the taxi route. At large airports with a complex taxiway system you will probably have a longer pause after the standby.
But I agree that there should be a minimum pause of a few seconds.
