Hi,
I only fly jets with an climb rate of 1200 ft/m to 3500 ft/m more or less. The ATC is always much too late for the next step. Climbing after T/O to, let´s say 8000ft, I always! have to reduce the climb rate or even stop climbing before the sleepy ATC instructs me to climb further. I know another ATC program which doesn´t do that. I don´t need to level off, stay there for half a minute and climb to the next level. In reality the ATC will contact the aircraft before it has to level off. Of course there are situations like weather or other crossing aircraft etc. which makes the ATC force you to stay at a certain altitude, but not always.
I think it has something to do with the aircraft profile? If the ATC knows the climbrate, it might be possible to make contact a bit earlier? If this would be fixed, I really like PF3.
Thanks
Peter
