Do you still get no TGS when using MCE whereas you get TGS in the exact same situation without MCE?

Does MCE still change the frequency to a different one than you use without MCE?

If you do, it seems to be an MCE problem which you should bring up on their forum.

Did another serial of test and this is the outcome:

with MCE running: no TGS
NO MCE running VCP mod "0": no TGS
NO MCE running VCP mod "1": no TGS
NO MCE running VCP mod "2": TGS working, additionally having now readbacks
NO MCE running VCP mod "3": TGS working, additionally having now readbacks

if this helps pls. let me know, if not I'll make a post in the MCE forum using the same subject.

thx
Heinz

Ok, if it also happens without MCE in VCP mode 0 and 1 it obviously isn't directly an MCE issue.

Given that you adequatly readback all clearances yourself with the Roger key in VCP modes 0 and 1 I have no idea why TGS does not work for you.

I'm sure Dave will be looking into this.

Before you or anyone else steps one level deeper into it, let me doublecheck about my responses to ATC. But as I'm celebrating today my birthday and tomorrow plus the following two day are busy with christmas celebration couldn't give you an answer before 26th or 27th. Dec.
Wish all of you merry christmas.

I don't believe you 'rogered' the taxi instructions. You still need to do this even if you are reading back the instructions yourself and hitting the 'pause to talk' button which I believe you were doing.

Happy Birthday :D

Hi Dave
as expected you've been right, as soon as I did everything right (rogered everything correctly) PF3 worked perfect. So I made a post on the MCE forum and will let the commuity here know what the outcome is
