Gents,

I am flying the FSLabs A320 in P3D v4.1 RPLL-YBCS on the following flight plan -

VER2B VERDE A461 SAJ W3 IOO B472 SELSO/N0459F350 B472 GUGUK J61 KONDA DCT

There are no centre or control names in this part of the world but whilst on centre frequency 122.075, I received a constant wind read out - about every 90 seconds.

"Wind two five six at five".

It did change direction a number of times so it was being read from somewhere.

I am now on centre 134.75 and it has stopped.

122.075 was the frequency for quite some considerable time before TOREX and continuing to IDELU on B472.

Kind regards,

Mark

Please ZIP and attach your debug_monitor.log file from your PF3\Logs folder... without the log we have no way of knowing what happened

Hi Dave,

Sorry, file is attached - I was still flying when I placed the message, via my iPad.

I meant to do it when I landed but realised it was 12.40am, so called it a night!

Thanks,

Mark

I can't find that text nor anything that even resembles it anywhere in the log you supplied.

1) Are you sure it's the correct log? If you did another flight after the problem you would need to supply the OLD debug log

2) Are you certain the call came from PF3 and if so why?

3) Are you using 'closed captions' and did you see that text displayed?

4) Are you running anything else that could be giving that call?

Hi Dave,

Thank you for your time.

Yes, it was the correct log, so if it did not come from PF3 (which I admit was an assumption given that is the application that talks to me) then maybe I have stumbled on some functionality with either the A320 or ASP4 (and I will go check ASP4 as it was definitely frequency related) that I was not aware of.

Maybe 122.075 in ASP4 activates a wind read out?

Anyway I will check the manuals for both tonight as only P3D v4.1 (FSLabs A320), ASP4 and PF3 are running, thanks for confirming the PF3 side.

I will revert back on success.

Kind regards,

Mark

from the AS16 manual :

4. Tune an aircraft’s com radio to 122.07 to receive a "wind check" (current surface wind direction and speed) on tuning and at specific intervals when approaching the runway (approximately 1000ft and 500ft AGL).

Yes confirmed Patrick and Dave, just found it in the manual, came to reply and Patrick beat me to it!

So, there you go, I have learnt something.

Maybe a tweak is not program a centre/control frequency on 122.075?

Anyway, isuue found, thanks gents.
