Hi,

For some reason, the backslash key doesn't do anything and I understand it's supposed to read back instructions.
I can hear the instructions but can't roger them.
I checked the hot key assignments but I haven't changed anything. The backslash key on my keyboard is working.
Please help.

regards

Martin

Change the assignment to just \ on its own, I've never understood why but CTRL SHIFT + \ has never worked on my PC.

OK great, thanks, that seems to have done the trick.
Only thing is, I filled in a SID and clearance faithfully read this SID back to me but when I read the clearance back I heard "fly runway heading". Is there something else I have to do ?

regards

Please make sure you have the latest version of PFE installed which is currently 2.11.1 I believe.

Yes,my version is 2.11.1
I'm on a flight right now and at the airport everything went fine but there were no waypoints beyond the sid so I'm flying blind.
I don't get it, I compiled a fligtplan ( I think, because there's no description anywhere on how to do this, just load it in PF2000 and press compile ? Ignore all the options and just go next, next ? )

You also have to load a flight plan in Flight Sim just as you normally would.

Yes, I loaded the flight plan in the FMC of the PMDG 737-800 and that's what I'm flying now but FPE keeps nagging me that I'm off course and PFE display only gives me the last waypoint of the sid.

Your flight plans don't match then, that's what the problem is, if you go into options 1 you can decide how far off course you can go before PFE starts nagging you, you can even disable nagging altogether. This is all in the manual by the way I recommend you read it all at least once.

I can understand me flying a different flight plan but why is pfe display not displaying the next waypoint then ?
Well, I'll try again, thanks for your help and I did read the manual that's how I know there's nothing about compiling in it.

cheers

Martin,

For my sake can we slow down a little please.

Best thing to do, after you finish your flight is to send me the debug_monitor.log file from the ...\PFE\Logs folder with a description as to what you were expecting to happen and what did or did not happen
