Is it just my luck or have you lot fixed the simulator so that whenever lately there is a runway to land on that only offers one direction, the approach is always given for the opposite so landings have to be manual?!!

It is your luck (AI using this direction, or wind direction), but you could use hotkey #2 with Approach to request a runway with ILS.

Blame your weather program. You also may be able to do a back-course approach which at least will make things easier.

I use AS2016 for P3D so I can't really complain about the wind direction.

Your suggestion makes sense Thomas. However, the possibility of an approach with the wind instead of against it doesn't really appeal.

Especially with my propensity for getting myself in trouble!

Flew into Barcelona today. It's well named. The blinking ILS wasn't working so I still had to land manually. All this work..... ;)
