Can't swich off TGS to request different runway.

As the title suggests. I have the 1 key mapped to z, and the 2 key mapped to x. These work as i am able to request ACARS during flight. TGS refuses to deactivate.
Thanks for any help with this.

Please zip and attach your PF3\Logs folder so we can have a look at the logs.

Sorry for the delay in replying, coming off night shifts. I checked,double checked and triple checked in FSX that nothing was using the Z key, and it showed that it wasn't. However, the Feel There E jets configuration tool had it assigned to auto pilot master switch thus wouldn't function to cancel TGS.
I need to self impose a 48 hour trouble shooting period before posting.
