I've encountered a problem that I don't know how to solve. I'm flying from KLAX to KLAS with a very simple flight plan: SEBBY1 DAG KEPEC3 I use this flight plan quite often when I'm learning a new aircraft or working on a problem because it's short, sweet, and interesting. The problem lies in the plan's simplicity -- DAG is the endpoint for both the SID and the starting point for the STAR, and the program won't let me enter that information. After selecting the SID's endpoint, I try to select DAG as the start of the STAR. But PF3 gives me the error notice "Your STAR must start/end after the SID ends." This is obviously not true. I have another simple flight plan between my home airport Indianapolis to Chicago O'Hare: MEARZ4 MZZ VEECK3. I tried using a flight plan with DAG inserted twice. FSX and a few other programs accept it, but PF3 only shows a single DAG in the SID/STAR screen. Does anyone have any ideas for these simple cases?

Don't select end of SID in the flightplan page , but enable sids active from the sids/stars menu page. Enter an altitude when the SID is complete in the same page. ATC will then consider you have completed your sid when you reach that altitude.

This will leave your flightplan free to enable you to select a start of star.
