Hello.

Today Win10 updated and PF3 asumed that it was another PC. Plus, I had internet connection problems. I tried to reactivate several times; then, unistall and reinstall from zero, but reactivation option locked for 30 days. It is anoying for those that, as myself, do know nothig about computers! I understan that piracy is a problem, but this measures appears to be physcotic. :?

Send an email with your activation code to Dave at pf3@oncourse-software.co.uk and he will reset it.

Sent. Thank you very much Dave. I am grateful for your kind attention, but I must say: what happen if you are not there for bringing support, or your server is down, or else? Can not use PF3 anymore? We are not eternal Dave... Just think about it.

Well, is Sunday and I can not fly waiting for the reset... please understand my frustration.

I've replied to all my emails so if you haven't received a reply it's because I haven't received your email, so please resend it.

Hello, Dave,

PF3 is a really, really good program for ATC and better than the others with one exception:

The reactivation process after reinstall or after recovery e.g. with Acronis is very, very annoying. It is not possible to work with the program without getting the permission per Email. I have many, many software on various PC's, but I have never had such a problem. If I had known it before buying I woudn't have bought it, because re-installing and rebuilding are things, which I must do on my FSX-PC often due to crashs or software is going insane.

Please reflect on this. Perhaps there is another possibility to protect your software like other firms without annoying and possibly expel your customers.

Again: it is a very good program, but...

Kind regards
Werner

The main problem you are having is you are not deactivating PF3 before attempting to reactivate it. So, before restoring your Acronis image make sure you deactivate PF3 from the Options #2 menu

Deactivate it, uninstall it and email me for a refund, no problem.

With all due respect that's not a fault of PF3 and if your system needs rebuilding so frequently I would suggest you need to investigate further and fix the cause rather than simply deal with the aftermath.

Sounds to me like you have a hard drive that is going bad. No reason you should have all these problems with a PC. I have never had a PC crash in almost 30 years and I have had many of them.

Hello, march and bobsk 8,
no, I don't want to give back PF3, it is the best of the ATC-Software and of course - the crashs are not because of PF3. Monday evening will come a technician to me and perhaps it is right, that one of the hard disks is bad. But...then I have to re-activate PF3 again...
bobsk 8: I am installing many add-ons, sceneries and so on. 90% are working well, but 10% not. In this case you have crashs of FSX or malfunction of other add-ons etc. In this case I dont search hours of hours for the reason, but just restore the whole system with acronis from the last backup, perhaps from the backup yesterday or a few days before and everything is well and the new installed add-on is away. This course of action requests every time a re-activation of PF3. If this is no problem for march, who always has to email to those who work like me, then I will come to terms with my fate... :(
Kindly regards
Werner

I have dozens of add ons and have never had to use a backup to fix anything, in decades of flight simming. How old is your hard drive?

Hello bobsk 8
my hard disk is one year and four months old... - But I know a few people with the same problem. Perhaps you have a profund knowledge of software and programming and you are able to solve problems in another way. I know people also who speak like you, but I can not compare me to them. I am only a user without any knowledge of software engineering and I dont have the patience to search for software-problems. If something goes wrong, I restore the whole system and everything is fine again. ;)
Regards
Werner
