Hi Guys

Just a few comands not getting issued from ATC.

1) I often don't get takeoff clearance (even without AI).
2) I don't get landing clearance
3) After landing, I don't get 'exit runway' message.

I do however, get correct pilot responses to the missing commands.

Running FSX on Windows7 on main PC
Running PFE on client PC

Have correctly updated scenery database and have checked I have checked I have latest versions of all.

Thanks

I would need to see the debug_monitor.log file from the PFE\Logs folder but I think it will only confirm that you have an incomplete installation.... probably some updates that failed to install. Best thing to do is to download the accumulative update from the sticky post above and use Method #2 as detailed in the readme.... that way you will soon see if Windows is stopping any of the installers from running, which unfortunately can sometimes happen. If this is the case you will be presented with a message asking is you want to run program XXX.

Let us know how you get on

Hi
I'm also having the same problem. I have version 2.11.1 and have reinstalled it several times. The missing ATC calls seem to be mostly altitude changes. The FSUIPC message doesn't show either. All I hear is the pilot acknowledgement. I've looked at the debug log and there are many of the following errors:
SaySentence error: 432 - File name or class name not found during Automation operation .
It doesn't make the software impossible to use but it is annoying.
Thanks

You also need to reinstall using the accumulative (manual) update

The manual install seems to have worked so far for all but one remaining airport - VHHX Kai Tak from Fly Tampa. It seems that scenery doesn't play well with other addons. It also 'acts up' with Flightsim Commander and Radar Contact.

Bit of a shame as I use Kai Tak as my 'base' airport.

Dougal,

I have that airport myself. What exactly do you find to be a problem when using Kai Tak?

Hi
Have reinstalled using the accumulative update (manual) but it has made no difference. I get many missed altitude change ATC calls - merely hear the pilots response. I am using PFE networked on a separate PC and using PIC3 mode.
The first errors in the log are:
670 - Error: 9 - Subscript out of range at FFA in AI_Interaction
910 - ****** ERROR ****** 6 in SubPlayDigits at Loc: 0
910 - ****** ERROR ****** 6 in SubPlayDigits at Loc: 0
530 - Error: 9 - Subscript out of range at DD4 in AI_Interaction
and then many errors similar to this:
30/12/2009 14:29:13: 970 - SaySentence error: 432 - File name or class name not found during Automation operation - Loc: 0
30/12/2009 14:29:13: 970 - Loop kicked: 0

According to those log entries the following files are either missing or corrupt in some way:-

ProFlightE\pfac126G.wav

ProFlightP\pfac126A.wav

Thanks Dave
Yes those files were missing. Don't really understand it but did a complete reinstall using the cumulative update and they were still missing. In desperation I did a manual update using all the individual (smaller) manual updates and all the files were there!
Regards
